Hello & welcome to our inaugural 2026 season of Lilith Lit: Women Reading Women!
What’s Lilith Lit?
Lilith Lit is a virtual book club for women featuring defiant works of contemporary literary fiction and nonfiction by luminary women authors, guided by writer and editor Lily Diamond (me, 👋). Each season, I curate a slate of books that explore how we as women are navigating the world today.
These are books that fundamentally changed something about the way I see the world, and how I feel living in it. They’re books that press into tender, electric conversations about sex, patriarchy, family, the polycrisis, colonization, ecology, grief, utopia, hypercapitalism, the internet, spirituality, race, community, religion, politics, oppression, liberation, and every other facet of being alive.
Each reading cycle will feature live community meetings and author convos + weekly reading guides delivering intel and behind-the-scenes nuggets from the authors themselves.
Speaking of authors…
Our 2026 Lilith Lit Authors
Seven bestselling, award-winning authors are joining us this season, with three works of fiction and four works of nonfiction. I am bowled over by each of these women and their words, and am thrilled that they’ll be joining us.
Starting next week, we’ll read one book every 6 to 8 weeks. At the end of each reading cycle, that book’s author will join us for a 1-hour virtual conversation and community Q&A. Get all the details about how Lilith Lit works here.
